About the Client Company

We are currently looking for a mechanic for our client located just outside Borås. The company works with heavy vehicles and machinery and has an ongoing need to strengthen its team with a technically skilled and practically oriented mechanic. Here you will find a varied workday with the opportunity to work with several types of machines and vehicles in a safe and well-organized environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a mechanic at the client company, you will be responsible for the repair, service, and maintenance of heavy vehicles and machinery.

Your tasks may include:

• Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing heavy vehicles and machinery
• Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Ensuring that vehicles and machinery meet quality and safety standards
• Documenting completed work and reporting discrepancies

Working hours: Daytime or 2-shift
Location: Just outside Borås
Start date: By agreement

Background and Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, practically oriented, and has experience working with heavy vehicles or machinery. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and enjoy a varied job where you can use both your hands and your mind.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

Requirements:

• Experience as a mechanic, preferably with heavy vehicles
• Good tool skills and experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license and access to a car
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility

Meritorious:

• Experience in service and maintenance within industry or transport
• Certificates for e.g. hot work, lifting devices, or overhead cranes
• Previous experience in troubleshooting with diagnostic equipment
• Interest in technology and a willingness to learn new systems
